About the event
This clinic is my favorite. I have been perfecting it as I go and frankly am getting more excited about it. We start the day with doing an on the ground assesment of each horse. Similar to what I do before bodyworking a horse. We look for their movement, their postures, the range of motion of joints, and any muscle tension. We then ride and use lateral maneuvers to match up what we saw on the ground as we use different exercises to help improve on any areas of weakness. This is a start to try and build symmetry, balance and strenth in our horses and note where we can start helping them become stronger and healthier. We will than dismount, note any changes in their body, and possible some on the ground exercises to finess. We will learning why each individual horse moves the way they do and what works for them. This will be a start to learning about how our horse's move and what we can to to maintain their bodies for any lifestyle or discipline. The clinic is very small in number of people so that we have time to cover all the pieces of each horse and costs 200$ for 4hrs.
